Rémi, 21, leaves his native La Tuque to sell Christmas trees in New York to pay off a debt that threatens his future. Dumped deep in the Bronx, he meets Laura, a deadpan French activist who will be his colleague for the next month. Together, they’ll discover the vibrant community on their street corner, and learn to survive the absurd and dramatic trials of the wild world of tree sales.
